Although Valentines day is historically for lovers where does that leave single people like me? While it can be slightly depressing for some. Many believe appreciation for loved ones should be demonstrated throughout the year not only a single day.

To all my single ladies, so what if bae is not in the picture there is no need to bury your head in the sand. This post is especially for you, with five fun ideas promoting SELF LOVE.

New Year Sparkle

What better way to enter the New Year than with some sparkle! It's insane how quickly this year has come and gone. I literally remember counting down the seconds during an epic girls night in Leicester. Now it's that very time to reflect and live up the final hours of 2017 in style.

Today I'm in the mood for giving so for the very first time on the blog I will be sharing TWO stellar NYE looks that will have all my curvy sisters looking thicker than a snicker!

Casual Date Look - 'Dating as a Millennial'

JACKET - MNG SUIT // TOP - NEW LOOK // JEANS - ASOS // HEELS - DOROTHY PERKINS //
TRAINERS - NEW LOOK  // BAG - TED BAKER

Joseph’s Coat of many colours unfortunately was not my style inspiration for todays date look! Despite how beautifully the garment is described in the book of Genesis, we just happen to share family members with enormously great taste. In planning an outfit for a date I prefer something comfortable that best exudes my personality and style.

While todays attire is dedicated to dating can we have a moment to discuss the topic of dating as a young millennial because its a tricky game in these streets. On the other hand it can be an informative and colourful experience that is vital.

Work Wear with Personality

I got my first job when I was 17 going on 18 and I was beyond awkward to start because I had never functioned in a professional environment. It was my first office job as an editor and camera operator for a small video production company in London.

I think we all know the initial struggle to finding your first job. In the beginning you apply for just about anything from customer service, retail, dog walker and almost every last one of them knock your hustle for a little independence, and THEN proceed to remind you of your lack of  “experience”. When I clearly stated in the application that I’m highly motivated and keen to learn. The last time I checked experience don’t grow on trees!

Flower Power

Happy Wednesday everyone! Does anyone ever get excited about this day in the week? Anyways if you’re reading this I’m happy your here! This show stopper is certainly my fave look on the blog so far. I felt really ladylike and unstoppable! Perhaps it was the fierce wind conditions happening throughout the shoot, but lets say Storm from X-men ain’t got nothing on me because I’m empowered by style and confidence (at least in this outfit I do)!

Demure in Black

Well not too bad its only been 10 days after my last post. Shall we have a mini celebration involving a nerdy fist punch to the sky! We’re making small small progress round here. A fantastic lesson I learned listening to Steven Furtick is to celebrate the small wins so that it may fuel you for the rest of your journey. Adopting this mentality helps instil motivation and appreciation which we all don't give ourselves enough credit for.

All Hats Off!

This blog post is most certainly overdue, so long overdue that I don’t think we’ll be rocking turtle necks of that in todays look anytime soon, given the glorious conditions sweeping the UK.
